The Factory Weekly#2 - Bad Kids
Unique art style; Backstory and bad jokes;Bad Kids can also be a MEME
Bad Kids is clearly an artist-focused project. It belongs to Cosmos ecosystem and is a PFP collection composed of 9999 different bad kids.
I really like the art style of Bad Kids because Bad Kids is so unique compared to all other PFP programs on the market. Here are my observations and simple analysis:
1) Unique art style
The scribbled, minimal hand-drawn style defines ‘unique’. but it's more than just hand-drawn style. The important thing is that each Bad Kid's character is very vivid. By extracting very distinctive styling features, such as hair, facial features, expressions, objects, etc., people can feel the character behind the hand-painted image, which is easy to recall a certain bad boy who is very similar in your childhood memory.
At the same time, the minimalist drawing, which I think can be compared to pixel projects, makes it easier to achieve an aesthetic consensus, and is also more suitable as an avatar. Personally, I don't think overly elaborate and complex drawings are suitable for avatars.
2) Backstory and bad jokes
Bad Kids frequently updates the official Twitter with some strange ideas, and details of each Bad Kids' backstory, although most of the jokes sound awful. But I think this light, interesting style makes the project even more special.
3) Bad Kids can also be MEME
Boredom can be a meme, animals can be a meme, stickman can be a meme, and of course bad kids can be a group of people's meme, a rebellious one!
4)What’s next
Where the project ultimately goes depends on how the team operates and how much effort is put into it.
